Cabin in the woods

My college roommate, who knows about my passion for building and making things, told me that his cousin and a friend had a senior project for high school. They wanted to build a cabin at their summer house, but there was one issue: they had never used power tools before. That’s where I came in. With my experience and knowledge of construction and tool usage, I stepped in to help. Over the course of four days, I taught these two high school seniors and my roommate a variety of woodworking skills and the process of building a structure. With plenty of guidance from me, they managed to construct most of the cabin themselves. To wrap up the project, I installed the laminate flooring throughout the cabin. It was a rewarding experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed mentoring them throughout the process.
