Custom Built Desk

For my housing at school, I needed a desk, but I wasn’t interested in a simple, generic piece from IKEA that would likely break in a year or two. Instead, I decided to build my own custom desk using high-quality hardwoods that would last for years. I crafted the tabletop from cherry wood, accented with a maple band around the edges for a striking contrast. I also incorporated built-in power outlets, USB ports, and a wireless charger, all flush with the surface of the desk. To support the desk, I used two store-bought legs on one side and a set of drawers on the other. The result was fantastic—I've spent countless hours writing essays and 3D modeling at this desk, and it’s become a reliable, long-lasting addition to my space.
